The Holy Kaaba

The Holy Kaaba is the house of Allah which is regarded as the most religious site in Islam. Muslims from around the world come to this place of worship, performing a series of rituals for Umrah and Hajj.  

Masjid al-Haram 

This is the sacred mosque of Makkah which is recognized as the world’s largest mosque. It encircles the holy Kaaba. Muslims worldwide come here and pray.

Clock Towers 

The clock tower is a building complex situated 300 meters away from the Masjid al-Haram. The tower has 120 floors featuring hotels, a shopping mall, an Islamic Museum & a spacious prayer room.

Mount Arafat 

Also known as the Mount of Mercy. This is a mountain, just 20 km southeast of Makkah. Muslims who perform the pilgrimage travel to Mount Arafat, where they recite verses from the Holy Quran and ask for the forgiveness of Allah.

Safa & Marwa

These are two small 2 hills that hold religious significance. Muslims travel back and forth between them seven times. This is known as Saee and this is done as a part of the Hajj and the Umrah.

Masjid Al-Taneem

This mosque is also referred to as Masjid al-Aisha. It is situated in the area of Al-Hil, which is 5 miles away from the holy Kaaba. This masjid is considered as a boundary of the Haram hence, travelers coming for Hajj and Umrah can put on their Ihram here.
